it should stay relatively warm.
Watching my trail companions, I have come to the conclusion
that most of the litter comes from the Nepalese themselves,
not from us tourists. Even my beloved Dawa is a litter bug. Of course we have provided the technological goodies that
fail to decompose and which future generations will pick up
or discard as they see fit.
When in doubt lie down, so I am lying down and writing this.
Today being somewhat of a rest day, makes me wish that I
would have brought a book to read to help pass the time.
The porters are coming off the mountain and Dawa has gone to
find out what has happened.
I have been lying down now for a couple of hours and it is
still snowing. Our food supply is camped close by and I am
awaiting word on what Dawa is cooking up tonight for dinner,
if anything!
If this snow keeps up we could see two to three inches by
morning.

It
is midday and the snow is gone. It is a short day for work and we
stopped next to the Hongu Koala (river), about 1:00 PM. I am
actually quite anxious to get going but we cannot leave
