Eva Hirning Ammon Grenz

          Eva Hirning Ammon Grenz was born near Odessa, Russia on August 11, 1856.  She married Henry Ammon Sr. October 13, 1877, and they had three children,  Christine, Henry Jr. and Dora.  Christine was born October 26, 1878.  Henry Jr. was born April 18, 1880 on a Friday morning.  Dora was born April 18, 1882 on a Sunday.  Henry Senior died August 10, 1882.

              Of the marriages dated December 2, 1884 between Adam Grenz Sr. and Eva Hirning Ammon there were seven children born:  Elizabeth, John, Rosa, Lee, Lydia, William, and Charles.  Elizabeth was born September 6, 1885 in Odessa, Russia,  After her birth the family came to the United States.  They landed at Baltimore, Maryland on may 15, 1887.  they then went to Palmer, Iowa where John was born on May 22, 1887.  they stayed there about eight days then went to South Dakota.  They were there about eleven months and then moved to Oregon.  Rosa was born July 15, 1889, in Salem, Oregon.  Lee was born June 11, 1892.  Mollay Lydia was born September 10, 1894 at Junction City.  William was born Jan 13, 1898.  Charles was born July 7, 1900.

Eva Grenz died October 30, 1943, at the age of 87 years.
