* Snap Shot:  Pauline went to Seattle in 1938 and married Thomas Kirk in 1939.  After they worked in several restaurants, they opened a restaurant of their own, called "TOMMY'S LUNCH".  They worked six days a week and made many friends; it was a lot of fun.  In 1971, they moved across the street and operated a restaurant there until Dec. 1980, when Thomas died.

Pauline still  works four days a week in a deli near her home.  She also enjoys visiting her 4 children, twelve grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.  Circa: 1993
