Ruby L. Grenz, 80, of
Acampo, died October 2nd, in Lodi. She was born
Ruby Miller on October 5, 1922, in Wiley,
Colorado. Mrs. Grenz moved to the San Joaquin
Valley in 1927. She graduated from Lodi High
School in June of 1940. She married M. L. Grenz
in November of 1940. She enjoyed music, playing
the piano, being with her grandchildren, and
animals.
She is survived by her
daughters, Karen Grenz, of San Jose, and Shelley
DeWit, of Acampo; and her grandchildren, David,
Matthew, Eric, Jill, and Ethan DeWit. She was
preceded in death by her husband, M. L. Grenz in
1992; brothers, John, Henry, and Aleck Miller;
and sisters, Molly Arnbrister and Mary Miller.
A chapel service will
be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, at Lodi Funeral Home
with Dr. Terry Irish of the Sunnyvale Church of
the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be
private. Memorial contributions may be made to
the donor's choice of charity. Lodi Funeral Home
is in charge of arrangements.
