Prelude

          Twenty Five years of winter camping usually takes me to the top of mountains but occasionally it involves nothing more then getting out into the beauty of a winter wonder land.  Since these trips involve 2 weeks beyond the 5 days I spend with my  two climbing partners people ask me what I do for this length of time under sometimes severe conditions.  This is an account of one such trip.
