Toby S. Grenz, 44, Portage, Mich., died Dec. 16, 2004.

Toby was born May 14, 1960, in Turtle Lake, the son of Willie G. and Lorene (Scott) Grenz. He was a graduate of Moorhead State University and had worked as a registered nurse for many years at Borgess Medical Center.

He is survived by his mother, Lorene Grenz, Mesa, Ariz.; one brother, Terrance (Diane) Grenz, Mesa; one sister, Debra (Tim) Wieber, Andover, Minn.; his nieces and nephews, Aaron, Amy, Jennifer and Brian; his uncle, Darrell (Jean) Scott, Lodi, Calif.; several cousins; and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Timothy Grenz.
