Sadie Dockter, 87, Fargo, N.D., died Wednesday, May 2, 2007,
at Bethany Homes, Fargo.
Sadie Donat was born Jan. 12, 1920, at Streeter, N.D., the
daughter of John and Lydia (Grenz) Donat. She grew up and
received her elementary education at the local rural school.
She helped on the family farm. She married Walter Dockter on
Sept. 9, 1938, at Jamestown. They lived and farmed on her
parents' farm 11 miles south of Medina, N.D., until the fall
of 1957. They then moved to Jamestown. In 1985, they moved
to Fargo. He died in 1997. In 2005, she moved to Bethany
Homes.
She is survived by two sons, Stanley (Dorothy) and Glendale
(Pat), both West Fargo, N.D.; a daughter, Dyan (Donald)
Clemens, West Fargo; nine grandchildren; and 21
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a
brother, Ruben; a sister, Irene; and three grandchildren,
Roger Dockter, Julie Dockter and Jenifer Dockter.

Heartland Hospital, Fargo.
Mr.
Dockter was born Sept. 9, 1913, near Medina, N.D., where he
grew up and attended school. On Sept. 9, 1938, he married
Sadie Donat in Jamestown, N.D. They lived on her parent's
farm near Medina until 1957. They then moved to Jamestown
where he worked as an electrician for Goodman Electric and
Jamestown Pipestem Electric for 23 years. He retired in
1980. They moved in 1985 to Fargo and lived at Trollwood
Village.
He is
survived by his wife; two sons, Stanley (Dorothy), Glendale
(Pat), both West Fargo; a daughter, Dyan (Donald) Clemens,
