Milbert Allen Grenz

               Funeral at the First Methodist Church in Aberdeen.  Burial Eureka City Cemetery with military rites.  died at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.  Graduated from Eureka High School and attended business school in Mitchell.  He worked at the Gottlieb Humann General Store in Eureka.  Served in the U. S. Army, 3184 Signal Service Battalion, From 1942- 1946.  After his discharge from the Army. they owned and operated a restaurant at Ellendate, N. D.  They later moved back to Eureka where he worked at Eureka Hardware until 1956.  In the fall of 1956, they moved to Lodi, Calif. where he worked at Victor Hardware Store.  In 1957 they purchased a farm.   Obituary:  The Northwest Blade, 3/1/95

Frieda (Junker) Grenz

The funeral for Frieda Grenz, 81, of Leeds and formerly of Aberdeen and Eureka will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Spitzer-Osthus Funeral Home, Aberdeen. The Reverend Dave Bambas will officiate.
Burial will be in the Eureka City cemetery.

She died Wednesday, January 23, 2002, at Linda Manor Nursing Home in Leeds. Frieda Junker was born April 24, 1920, to John G. Junker and Margaretha Fischer at Java. She married Milbert A. Grenz on April 23, 1944. From a young age she worked at a variety of food preparation jobs, including a job as an assistant cook at the Eureka Community Hospital and in a pie shop in Missouri while her husband was in the military during World War II.
