Lyle Goehring Obituary
Lyle W. Goehring, 72, a lifetime resident of Acampo and
Lockeford, CA, passed away November 18, 2012. He was born
November 12, 1940, the son of Samuel and Agnes (Zeller)
Goehring. Lyle attended Lodi High School, graduating in
1959. Lyle then served in the United States Marine Corps
until 1964. Lyle and Deanna (Black) married in 1964. He
spent his working career as a Water Well Drilling
contractor within his family's business, Goehring Pump and
Irrigation. He served on the Board of Lockeford/Clements
Chamber of Commerce. Lyle followed Nascar with a passion
and enjoyed annual trips to Hot August Nights. He loved
spending time in the casinos and traveling. He is survived
by his wife of 48 years, Deanna; brother, Ron Goehring;
sister-in-law, Frances Goehring; two daughters, Deborah
(Greg) Madonna and Sheila O'Donaghue; and many lifelong
friends. A graveside service will be held Monday, November
26, 2012, at 1:00 pm, Harmony Grove Cemetery, 11455 E.
Locke Rd., Lockeford, CA 95237. There will be no
visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations to The American
Cancer Society, 207 East Alpine Ave, Stockton, CA 95204
