Leta "Peggy"
Rist,
80, of Chelan, died Tuesday, June 20, 1989, in Lake Chelan
Community Hospital following an extended illness.
She
was born May 4, 1909, at Schrag to Adolph and Rose (Schrag)
Graber. She moved with her parents to Monroe in 1917 where
she attended schools. She moved to Wenatchee in 1927 where
she was employed for 10 years.
She married Charles A Rist
on June 30, 1938, at Monroe. They lived in Wenatchee until
1953 when they moved to Lake Chelan. Mr. Rist died in August
1988. Mrs. Rist attended the Little Stone Church.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Charles and Barbara
Rist, Chelan; three sisters, Della Ray of Arizona, Verna
Griffin of Oregon, and Fran Schillinger of Idaho; two
brothers, Jess Graber of Washington and Bill Graber of
California; and two granddaughters. She was also preceded in
death by two brothers and a sister.
