LeRoy C. Lang
91, was born and grew up in Streeter, ND, the son of Ed Lang and Otilda
(Tillie) Rivinius. LeRoy went home to be with the Lord on
March 28, 2021 and was preceded in death by his daughter,
Sheila Wahl and more recently, Helen his wife of 70 years
and high school sweetheart.
The funeral service will be at Temple Baptist Church,
Jamestown on Monday, April 5 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow
at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown. Visitation will be at
1:00 pm at the church. Due to the pandemic the service will
also be on Facebook live at Temple Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Temple Baptist
Church, 1200 12th Ave. NE, Jamestown, ND 58401.
LeRoy worked at the ND State Hospital for 33 years as the
Master Tradesman. He was a hardworking provider and could
fix anything.
He attended Temple Baptist Church and was always willing to
help where he could, even washing dishes.
Over the years, LeRoy and Helen enjoyed traveling and were
blessed with the opportunity to spend winters in Arizona for
18 years. They traveled to 39 different states on motorcycle
and took a tour to Europe visiting 14 countries.
He is survived by children Cheryl (Rod) Lahren and LaMont
(Tammie) Lang; son-in-law, Craig (Ann) Wahl; grandchildren
Cami (Jason) Moritz (Wahl), Ty and Nate Lahren and Patrick
Lang; three great grandchildren; sister, Linda Leichtnam;
and many nieces and nephews

Helen J Gienger
Helen J Lang, 89 yrs old, was born in Hardin,
Montana, the daughter of Paul Gienger and Mary Seidel. Helen
went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2021 and was
preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Wahl.
Visitation will be Friday, February 19 from 1 to 5 pm at
Williams-Lisko Funeral Home, Jamestown. Funeral service will
be at Temple Baptist Church, Jamestown on Saturday, February
20 at 2 pm. Due to the pandemic the service will also be on
Facebook live at Temple Baptist Church.

Helen taught in a one room schoolhouse in Streeter, ND and
later worked 27 years at US Bank.
She was a charter member at Temple Baptist Church where she
taught Sunday school and served in various positions.
Over the years, LeRoy and Helen enjoyed traveling and were
blessed with the opportunity to spend winters in Arizona for
18 years.
She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart of
70 years, LeRoy Lang and children Cheryl (Rod) Lahren and
LaMont (Tammie) Lang, grandchildren Cami (Jason) Moritz
(Wahl), Ty and Nate Lahren and Patrick Lang, three great
grandchildren, sister-in-law Linda Leichtnam and many nieces
and nephews.
