Theresa Lynn (Moser) Grenz Obituary

Theresa Lynn (Moser) Grenz, 55, died in her Pierre, S.D., home on Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

       Theresa was born on Aug. 17, 1955, in Eureka, S.D., to Floyd and Florine Moser.

She spent her early years living and attending school in many different towns throughout South Dakota and Wyoming. She graduated from Eureka High School in 1973 and attended Watertown Business College. Following business college, she married John Grenz on Oct. 19, 1974, in Eureka, S.D.
Theresa lived in Eureka for 18 years and worked for Northwest GF Mutual Insurance Company as an insurance underwriter.

       Theresa had one son, Eric John Grenz.

       In 1992, Theresa and John moved to Pierre, S.D., where Theresa worked at the State of South Dakota Division of Service to the Blind and Visually Impaired and the South Dakota Retailer's Association for eight years as a receptionist, coordinator of educational programs and special projects, and credit card processor program coordinator.

       Theresa enjoyed reading, listening to music, golfing, and traveling with her family. She was well-known for the beautiful baby sweaters she would knit for family and friends. She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle manner.

       She is survived by her husband, John Grenz, Pierre; son, Eric Grenz and wife Amber, Rapid City, S.D.; parents, Floyd and Florine Moser, Apache Junction, Ariz.; sisters, Debra (Steve) Riis, Gillette and Stephanie (Wayne) Austad, Idaho Falls, Idaho; mother-in-law, Alice (Ken) Grenz Waege, Watertown, S.D.; brother-in-law, David (Judy) Grenz, Mound City, S.D.; and sister-in-laws, Sherri (Dick) Kraft, Aberdeen, S.D. and Holly (Daryl) Grohs, Watertown, S.D.
