John Fredrick Grenz Obituary

Mr. Grenz was born Oct. 25, 1925, in Albany. He was born on Scravel Hill, near Albany, and lived in that area all of his life. He went to work in 1947 for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a rural mail carrier and retired in 1983. He married his wife Maxine in 1948.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a former member of St. Thomas Parish in Jefferson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and George; and two sisters Kathrine Muller and Adeline Tanson.

He is survived by his wife Maxine, Albany; children Mark and Tony, both of Salem; Jeff, Lebanon; Teresa Thomas and Brian, Albany; sister Carolyn Schildmeyer, Salem; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
