Harriette Vanmeter
She was the daughter of Walter Valentine Osborn
Vanmeter and Elizabeth May Waughtel. She worked at the
Indiana Army Ammunition Plant during World War II. She also
worked as a seamstress and housekeeper. She enjoyed the
outdoors, gardening and canning.
She is survived by her husband; one son, three daughters,
three step-sons, two step-daughters, one sister, one
half-sister, two brothers, two half-brothers and 13
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Bertha
Vanmeter; one half-sister, Helen Vanmeter; one brother, John
Thomas; two half-brothers, Walter Vanmeter and Arthur
Vanmeter; and one granddaughter, Pamela Carlisle.
