Harold R. Bauer Obituary
Harold R. Bauer, 60, Bismarck, passed away Feb. 27, 2014,
at Sanford Health,
Bismarck. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, at DaWise-Perry
Funeral Services, Mandan, with the Rev. Dale Nabben
officiating. Burial will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled for 9 a.m. until time of service
at the funeral home.
Harold was born Aug. 17, 1953, to Henry and Hilda (Zeller)
Bauer at Mandan, where he was raised and educated. On Nov.
21, 1998, he married Marley Grenz in Mandan. Harold served
in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked as an aircraft mechanic
for Lockheed and Boeing, and was also a truck driver and
participated in rodeo. He enjoyed taking care of his
birds, cooking, canning, camping and spending time with
family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Marley, Bismarck; two
daughters, Amanda and Alicia Bauer, both of Corpus
Christi, Texas; four sons, Raymond (Carisa) Bauer, Mandan,
David Wintermeyer, Fargo, and Nolan and Ryan Wintermeyer,
both of Bismarck; two sisters, Yvonne Huddleson, Green
Valley, Ariz., and JoAnn Paul, Mandan; one brother, Arnold
(Ann) Bauer, Mandan; 16 grandchildren; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; one niece,
Lisa Paul; and two brothers-in-law, Gary Huddleson and
Jerry Paul
