LAS VEGAS - Harold Fuchs, 80, formerly of Billings, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, of a heart attack, at his home in Las Vegas. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in
Billings at a later date. Announcement will follow.

Harold was born on Jan. 13, 1922, to Henry and Pauline (Grentz) Fuchs. Harold spent his childhood on the homestead near Plevna with his siblings: Olivia, Christine, Eugene and Leo. He attended school in the Baker/Plevna area.

In 1945, Harold married Beulah Marie Flor of Marmarth, N.D. They resided in Marmarth with their four children, Sheila, Debbie, Terri and Jerry. In 1964, Harold sold his farming operation and moved his family to Billings, where he resided until moving to Las Vegas eight years ago. He was a fan of baseball and a member of the Elks Lodge.

Harold is survived by his son, Jerry of Las Vegas; daughters Sheila and husband Gene Rockman of Billings, Debbie West of Billings, Terri and husband Ed Stevens of Phoenix; six grandchildren, Jocelyn Mitchelmore (California), Chad Rockman (Billings), Danielle and Trevor West (Vancouver, B.C.), Angela Stevens (Phoenix) and Zachary West (Billings).

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Eugene and Leo.
