Snap Shot for Gregory K Grenz

Greg and Pat (Gab) Grenz live about 7 miles south of Artas, on the farm his parents, Ervin and Frances (Jenner) Grenz, farmed.  Gred was born July 4, 1947, went to country school Postal #19 for eight years and then attended Eureka High School, graduating in 1965.  He is a graduate of SDSU and Purdue University and served briefly in the Army Infantry.  He returned to South Dakota to farm with his father in 1975 and became the third generation to operate his family's farm when Ervin died unexpectedly in 1976.

Shortly after returning to Eureka, Greg met Patricia Gab, daughter of Robert and May (Lloyd) Gab, also of Eureka.  Pat, born June 13, 1952, is a graduate of Eureka High School and NSU.  They were married in Eureka in 1977.  They have 3 children:  Christopher (b. 1978), Elizabeth (b. 1981), and Emily (b. 1991)  They are members of the First Baptist Church in Eureka.
