Gottlieb G Grenz - Obituary

          Resident of the Temvik community, died Linton Hospital shortly after being admitted.  Apparent heart attack.  Born in Artas, SD and educated there.  Came to Emmons County 59 years ago, worked at the grain elevator in Temvik 14 years and at an elevator in Linton one year.  Served on the township board until his death, was once member of the McCulley District School board and served 5 months in in the Army in 1942.  Funeral services at the Linton Methodist Church, Kraft Funeral Home, Burial Temvik Cemetery in Emmons County, ND.

Elsie Louise Schatz - Obituary

           Born on a farm eight miles southeast of Medina.  Married and made home in Temvik.  After her husband's death in 1966, she lived in Bismarck and Hazelton and then settled in Linton.  Elsie held down a variety of Jobs during her lifetime.  She worked in a baker, a cafe and a grocery store.   She painted homes for people and decorated special occasion cakes.  She worked for the Linton School District as a cook until she retited in 1993 due to her illness.  In April of 1994, she entered the Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center.  Burial will be held in the spring in the Temvik Cemetery under the direction of Myers Funeral Home of Linton.
