Floyd |
Floyd Freimark, Our beloved Father, Grandfather, friend and
mentor went home to the Lord on September 18, 2013. He
fought a long battle with Parkinson's Disease and a short
battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones over
the last days of his life.
Floyd was born July 2, 1937 to John and Ernestina Freimark
at the family farm in Eureka, South Dakota. At the age of
17, he followed his beloved sisters, Bonnie, Audrey and
Delphia to Seattle, WA looking for a better life.
Floyd served honorably in the United States Army. In 1962,
Floyd married the love of his life, Linda Ann Roark and they
were together until her death, July 22, 1994. They had two
sons, Steve and John. Over the years, Floyd was employed by
the Boeing Company and Hostess Bakery, but his real passion
in life was real estate. He enjoyed buying, selling and
developing all kinds of real estate. He especially enjoyed
being an Apartment owner and home builder.
Floyd is survived by his sons, his grandsons, two brothers,
his sister, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was
preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda Freimark;
sisters, Delphia Schick, Audrey Bauer and Bonnie Stuckle.
