Emma Roberts
Emma Roberts, 92, Medcenter One Care Center,
Mandan, died April 5, 1997, in the care center. Services
will be at 1 p.m. today at Eastgate Funeral Chapel,
Bismarck, with the Rev. James Vetter officiating. Burial
will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services at the
funeral chapel.
Emma Pfeifer was born June 13, 1904, in Anamoose, the
daughter of Adam and Katrina (Adams) Pfeifer. She was raised
and educated in the Anamoose area. Later in life, Emma met
Ed Roberts.
Emma lived in various places, such as Williston and Kenmare.
She lived in Bismarck for the last 35 years and worked at
the Bismarck Hospital and Bismarck Airport.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and occasionally traveling.
Emma will be missed by her loving family.
She is survived by two sisters, Pauline Stach, Fargo, and
Alvina Aichele, Bismarck; one brother, Prosper Pfeifer,
McClusky; one stepsister, Eva Heisz, Bismarck; and one
stepbrother, Theobold Hoffer, McClusky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Ed; four brothers;
and three sisters.
