Pfeifer Final Rites Conducted:

Funeral services for Frederick Pfeifer Sr. 90 who passed away on Thursday were held yesterday afternoon in the First Baptist Church.

Rev. Willis E. Potratz officiate. Wanda Lippert sang and was accompanied by Ammie Mittleider at the organ.

Pallbearers were Aldon Pfeifer, Michael Berg, Leonard Berg, Jack Pfeifer, Leo Pfeifer Jr., and Douglad Pfeifer.

Interment followed at the Lodi Memorial Cemetery in
Lodi, Ca.

Gierhart and Wells Funeral Home Conducted the services.

FORMER LOCAL WOMAN DIES

The many local friends of Mrs. Elizabeth Pfeifer will learn with sadness of her death Sunday morning in a hospital at Bismarck, North Dakota, following a long illness. She was born in South Dakota and was 63 years of age.

The Pfeifer family resided in Lodi, Ca. for ten years but returned to North Dakota last Spring to operate a farm.
Shortly after her arrival there she entered a hospital and underwent an operation. She was confined there untill the time of her death.

Elizabeth was a member of the Firts Baptist Church in Lodi, Ca.

Deceased was the first wife of Fred Pfeifer, Sr.:

Mother of: Elsie Pfeifer Bechthold, Leo Pfeifer, Fred Pfeifer Jr. of Lodi: Edwin Pfeifer of Hazleton, North Dakota: Jake Pfeifer of Leavenworth, Washington: Mrs. Ida Pfeifer Berg of Manteca, Ca: PVT Albert Pfeifer of the United States Army: Staff SGT. Levering Pfeifer of San Diego, Ca And the late Alfred Pfeifer of Lodi, Ca.

Elizabeth is the sister of Mrs. Lydia Krueg and Mrs. Sophia Strohmaier, both of Lodi, Ca.: Mrs. Hannah Edinger of Freewater, Oregon: August Sauter of Linton, North Dakota: Jake Sauter of Heddinger, North Dakota: Henry Sauter of Dawson, North Dakota: Mrs. Philappino Graf of Harriet, South Dakota:

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Linton, North Dakota on Dec. 22, 1943.
