ELEANOR ALICE WEIMER Valparaiso, Indiana Age
83, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at Porter
Hospital. She was born September 25, 1923, in DeMotte, IN,
the daughter of Elwood and Julia (Grenz) Hershman, who
preceded her in death. Eleanor was an assembler at McGill
Manufacturing and worked in housekeeping at Valparaiso
University for 35 years. She attended Central Christian
Church in Valparaiso. On July 5, 1947, she married Herbert
W. Weimer, who preceded her in death June 14, 1995.
Surviving is a son, Timothy R. (Denise) Weimer of
Valparaiso; a daughter, Barbara (Richard) Sowards of Hebron;
7 grandchildren; 4 great-grand-children; a sister, Dorothy
Brown of Valparaiso, and a brother, Leroy Hershman of
Wheatfield. Two brothers Lloyd and Kenneth also preceded her
in death. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 22,
2006, 11:00 a.m. at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Rev. Don
Thorn-ton officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery,
Valparai-so. |
