Dennis "Denny" Hampton
February 11, 1953 - March 4, 2016
Salem - Dennis "Denny" Hampton, 63 passed away Friday, March
4th. Denny was born February 11, 1953 in Dallas to parents
Merle "Hap" and Nancy Ames Hampton. He married Margie
Villwock on February 29, 1992 in Salem. For most of his
working career Denny was a long haul truck driver. He owned
dump truck and long haul truck businesses. He also owned
"Truck Toys," a truck chrome shop. He will be remembered for
his great sense of humor with a hearty laugh, out-going
personality, beautiful red hair and smiling blue eyes.
Denny is preceded in death by his father, Hap Hampton. He is
survived by his wife, Margie; his mother, Nancy Hampton;
children Stan & Melanie; siblings Russell Hampton and Kim
Amunrud (Jeff); 7 grandchildren and numerous extended
family.
Celebration of Life 2:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2016 at
Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service, Salem, Oregon.
