Obituary

          Died Friday after a long illness (3/7/1980, she was a native of Goodrich, North Dakota, and had lived in the Lodi-Lockeford area since 1940.  She was a member of the Live Oak Rebekah Lodge No. 89.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ausef Grenz, who died in 1978.

          She is survived by a brother, Albert Mayer of Sacramento; two sisters, Ruth B. Johnson of Omaha, Neb, and Esther M. Buetow of Moose Lake, Minn. ; and several nieces and nephews.  Internment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery.

Obituary

          Formerly of Lockeford.  Died Sunday morning in a local convalescent hospital after a short illness.  A native of Venturia, N.D., he came to live in Lockeford in 1940.  He worked for the late Ed Locke for several months before working for Winfield Montgomery.  After several years, he returned to the Locke ranch where he worked until his retirement in 1973.  He is survived by his wife, Pauline B. E. Grenz of Lockeford, presently residing in Stockton, and by several nieces and nephews.
