Audrey Bauer
Audrey Bauer, 71, went home to be with her Lord and
entered into a beautiful new life on September 23, 2006,
where her light now shines on all those who loved her.
She was born on July 2, 1935, to John and Ernestina Freimark
in Eureka, South Dakota. At the age of 17, she married the
love of her life, Clarence Bauer, and they were married for
51 years until his death in 2004. In 1954 they moved to the
Seattle, Washington area where they raised four children.
Her love for children was shared with many families over the
years and gave her much joy. Her generous, nurturing and
accepting nature has been an inspiration to all her
children, family and friends.
After the death of her husband, Clarence, Audrey sold her
home in Bothell, Washington and moved up to Arlington,
Washington, to be closer to her children. She attended the
Stillaguamish Senior Center, where she met and made several
friends.
Audrey was very active in church and believed in the Lord
with all her heart. She attended Trinity Lutheran in
Lynnwood, Washington, for many years, then Maple Park
Lutheran Church. She was attending Atonement Free Lutheran
Church at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Freimark;
mother, Ernestina Freimark; sister, Delphia Schick; and her
husband, Clarence.
Audrey is survived by her children, Monica Bauer, of
Arlington, Todd and Tammie Bauer, of Arlington, Peggy and
Jay Carey, of Langley, Washington, and Craig and Eva Bauer,
of Marysville, Washington; sisters, Bonnie (Mike) Smith, of
Lynnwood, and Darlene Ochsner, of Artas, South Dakota;
brothers, Oliver (Mary Jane) Freimark, of Rapid City, South
Dakota, Gordon Freimark, of Eureka, South Dakota, Floyd
Freimark, of Edmonds, Washington, and Emil (Janice) Freimark,
of Mount Vernon, Washington; nine grandchildren; and
numerous friends and family who loved her dearly.
A memorial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 29,
2006, at Atonement Free Lutheran Church, 6905-172nd Street
N.E., Arlington, WA, 98223. 360-435-9191.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American
Cancer Society or Hospice of Snohomish County.

Clarence A. Bauer
Clarence A. Bauer, 78, of Bothell, WA, went home to
be with his Lord on May 23, 2004.
Clarence was born in Zeeland, ND on March 22, 1926. He was
raised and worked on the family farm until he was drafted
into the United States Air Force in 1946. he served two
years overseas in Japan and Hawaii. After returning home,
Clarence met and later married Audrey Freimark of Eureka, SD
on May 10, 1953. A year later in 1954, they drove out to
Seattle, WA where Clarence quickly found a job at the Boeing
Co. He later transferred up to the Everett plant where he
worked on the first 747. He worked for Boeing for 33 years
as an overhead crane operator before retiring in 1987. He
then worked for Safeway for another ten years until he
retired from there in October, 1998.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey, of 51 years; children,
Monica of Arlington, Peggy (Jay) of Langley, WA, and Todd
and Craig (Eva) both of Marysville. Clarence also has eight
grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters and numerous
friends and family who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one
sister.
Our family would like to give a special thank-you and
heartfelt gratitude to the numerous nurses and staff members
at Aldercrest Rehab/nursing home who were so caring and
thoughtful throughout his stay. We thank you so much.
