Alfred Pfeifer
passed away at a Stockton hospital yesterday afternoon
following a long combat with pneumonia. He was 26 years of
age. A native of Lindon, North Dakota, he came with his
father Fred Pfeifer to Lodi six years ago. He has been
employed at the Pure Sausage Meat Company as a meat cutter.
On May 12, 1937 he was married to Miss Hazell Mausehund at
Linton; returning to Lodi to make his home. His wife
operates Pfeifer Beauty Salon on North School street.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Pfeifer; by his
father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pfeifer of Lodi, and by
the following brothers and sisters, Jake Pfeifer of
Leavensworth, Wash., Albert Pfeifer of Linton, N.D.; Edwin
Pfeifer, Hazelton, N.D>; Lee Pfeifer of Lodi; Levering
Pfeifer of Lodi and Freddie Pfeifer of Lodi; Mrs. Ben
Bechthold of Lodi and Mrs. Ida Pfeirer of Lodi.
He was a member of the German Baptist church of Linton,

Pfeifer Funeral to Be Held Monday Funeral services for
Alfred Pfeifer, who passed away Wednesday following an
attack of Pneumonia will be held Monday afternoon at 2
o'clock at the German Baptist church with Rev. A. Felberg
and Rev. H.K. Hamilton officiating.
Interment will be in Lodi cemetery under direction of Wells
