Wedding: Adam and Bertha June 12, 1938 |

Following the ceremony a
reception and dinner was given in the church
basement to `65 relatives and friends.
The dining room was tastefully decorated in floral
shades of green, rose and yellow.
The bride is a graduate of the high school in
Martin and the Bismark Evangelical Hospital
Nursing school. At present she is a nurse in
Portland, Oregon.
The groom is a graduate of the high school of
Napoleon. He attended alley City S. T. C.,
one year and taught school in Kidder and Logan
counties for three years. He then took a
course at Molars Barber College in Fargo and at
present is a barber in Portland, Ore.
The Young people will spend some time visiting at
various N. D. points and will then go to Portland,
Oregon to make their home.
Approximately 50 out of town guests attended the
wedding, including many relative from Canada,
Montana and various N. D. points.
The reception was also in the from of a shower.
The young couple receiving many beautiful and
useful gifts including a full set of silverware
from the Ladies Aid of the Turtle Lake
congregation. The many
friends of the family join in extending
congratulations to the young couple |
