Dennis F. Pfeifer, 66, of
Langdon, ND passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday,
July 15, 2009 at the MeritCare Hospital in Fargo,
ND.
Dennis Pfeifer was born on March 27, 1943 at
Eureka, South Dakota to John H. and Verna (Sinkbeil)
Pfeifer. Dennis attended school at Zeeland, ND and
went on to graduate from Jamestown College.
He was united in marriage to Charlotte Strand on
August 22, 1964. Dennis taught school at Walhalla,
ND for 22 years until the family moved to Langdon
in 1985. He also was employed at the Water
Treatment Plant, the Sanitation Department, and at
the Langdon Activity Center. Dennis was a very
social being and enjoyed spending time with family
and friends.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Charlotte of
Langdon, children: Laurie (Pete) Wirtzfeld of
Sentinel Butte, ND, Lisa Pfeifer (fiancé, Preston
Nerpel) of Rolette, ND, Michael (Jodi) Pfeifer of
Twin Falls, Idaho, and Robert Pfeifer of West
Fargo, ND; grandchildren: Joshua Wirtzfeld (Kayla
Bacon) of Wibaux, MT, Jacob (Christine Roper) of
Fargo, Ashley (Bill Maye) of Moorhead, MN, Nic
Pfeifer of Rolette, Jordan Pfeifer of Twin Falls
Idaho, and Mason Pfeifer of Twin Falls;
great-grandchildren: Bailee, Anika, and Macoy;
Mother Verna Pfeifer and Brothers: Charles Pfeifer
of MN, John M. (Rita) Pfeifer of Bismarck, ND, and
Neil Pfeifer of GA.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, and
sister-in-law, Sharon. |
