Dad, we will miss you.

We will miss your skills, of course.

Why, there wasn't anything you couldn't do it seemed; from a new foundation for the house...to taking a good photograph or giving a good haircut.

We will miss your philosophy, of course. There wasn't a subject matter that your intellect didn't challenge or test with long discussions with your friends and family.

We'll Miss your Christian faith and charity. How much it was tested and never did it waver...and, never an ill word spoken of your fellow man.

We will certainly miss your generosity...in time and money...faithful worker of Christ's church that you were...you didn't hold back. your heart and house were always open.

We will miss your courage, may we all do so well in our final days.

Most of all, we'll miss your spirit, as strong as your physical body was weak.

We said, "There is a good man"
