Elizabeth Fuentes Grenz Obituary

On Thursday, September 2, 2010 Elizabeth Fuentes Grenz (Liz) crossed the great divide between Earth and Heaven to join our Lord God. Liz passed away after a prolonged fight with stomach cancer. Liz, a loving wife, daughter, mother, homemaker and beautiful friend is no longer in pain and is walking joyously alongside the Lord. Left behind to celebrate her 47-year life is her husband Rick, parents Leonard and Margaret, sisters Norma and Lorraine, and children Phillip, Stephanie and Michael. In addition to immediate family, which includes four grandchildren, there are also many loving relatives and friends. During her short time among us, Liz's influence and friendship made us all better people. She will be missed by all who came to know her. In Liz's memory, contributions may be made to the Correctional Peace Officers Foundation (CPO Foundation) and/or to a college fund for her son Michael Grenz established with the Golden 1 Credit Union. Michael is a junior in high school and plans to fulfill his dream of attending and graduating from college.
