Alex Grenz Obituary Publish date: 12/1/2009 AlexGRENZ , 92, of Loveland passed away on Nov. 30, 2009. He was born June 23, 1917, in Tampa, Kan., to Adam and Katie (Brickman) Grenz.) He was self-employed as a cabinetmaker, a locksmith, a plumber; most of everything in the building trade. He enjoyed carpentry, wood building and painting homes, etc. On July 13, 1940, he married Fern L. Gold in Las Vegas, Nev. They lived in Kansas and California. They also lived in La Junta, Colo., until three years ago when they moved to Loveland. He is survived by his loving wife, Fern; sons Jimmy Grenz (Orvilla), Loveland, and Kenneth Grenz (Sharon), Colorado Springs; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and five sisters. Cremation has been completed. No services scheduled. Viegut Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Fern Leona Grenz Obituary Fern Leona Grenz of Loveland died September 20, 2015 at North Shore Health & Rehab. She was born September 17, 1920 in Hurley, Missouri to Edward and Armenti Gold. She enjoyed playing the piano, loved children and was an active member of her church in Garden City, Kansas. Fern is survived by her sons Jimmey Grenz and Kenney Grenz; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Al Grenz. Cremation has been completed.
