Sophia Will

  Services for Sophia Will, 90, Missouri Slope Lutheran Home, Bismarck, formerly of 829 N. 13th St., will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary United Methodist Church, Bismarck, and at 2P.M. at the Hazelton Cemetery.  She died June 22, 1986, at the nursing home.

   Sophia Grenz was born Aug. 24, 1895, in Odessa, Russia.  In 1905, she immigrated to the United States with her parents, who settled in Mound City, S.D.  She married Henry Will in 1917 at Mound City.  They homesteaded 10 miles south-west of Hazelton and farmed there until 1947 when they moved to Bismarck.  He died in 1967,  She entered the nursing home in 1985.

  She is survived by one daughter, Alma Myers, Boise, Idaho; eight sons, Ted, Bismarck, John, Santa Barbara, Calif., Herbert, Boise, Godfred, Red Wing, Minn., Henry Jr. and Herman, both of Hazelton, Edwin and Oscar, both of Linton; one sister, Mrs. Pete Stoller, Bismarck, two brothers, Jacob, Hazelton, and Chris, Miles City, Mont.; 29 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.  (Boelter Funeral Home, Bismarck)
