Alan “Pete” Renschler, 58, died Aug. 29, 2010, at Medcenter One, Bismarck. Pete’s Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at McCabe United Methodist Church, Bismarck.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Bismarck Funeral Home.

Pete is survived by his wife, Sharon Renschler, Bismarck; sons, Brian (Melissa) Renschler, Vail Valley, Colo., and Rob Renschler and his daughter, Paige, Des Moines, Iowa; daughter, Jennifer Renschler and her daughter, Mikah, Bismarck; mother, Delores Renschler, Linton; sister, Karen Renschler (Tom Kraft), Fargo; brothers, Sam (Helen) Renschler, Linton, and Jason (Sandy) Renschler, Bismarck; and nieces and nephews, Holly, Jesse, Abby, Ally and Timmy.

Pete was preceded in death by his father, Neil Renschler.

In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials are preferred to the Ruth Meiers Hospitality House, Bismarck
