Sandra "Sandi" Weishaar, 52, Bismarck, died
March 10, 2002, at her home. Services will be held at 11
a.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, Bismarck. Burial
will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Boelter-Eastgate Funeral Service,
Bismarck, and will continue on Saturday one hour prior to
services at the church.
Sandi was born Aug. 2, 1949, in Bismarck, the daughter of
Edwin and Lydia (Hagel) Weishaar. She was raised and
educated in Bismarck. After high school, Sandi worked for
various retail stores in Bismarck. She had been working for
the North Dakota State Tax Department for the last 28 years.
Sandi not only had a career at the Tax Department, but also
a second family.
She enjoyed cooking, visiting with family and friends,
playing cards, softball, racquetball and snow skiing.
She is survived by her mother, Lydia Weishaar, Bismarck; two
sisters and one brother-in-law, Joyce Weishaar and Cindy and
Jack Cain, all of Bismarck; four uncles, Theodore Hagel,
Yakima, Wash., Charles McIntyre, Portland, Ore., Arthur
Hagel, Mandan, and Albert Zimmerman, Elgin; one aunt,
Gertrude Moynier, Aberdeen, Wash.; numerous cousins; and her
special friends, Luke Leingang and Vida Gorsegner.
Sandi was preceded in death by her father, Edwin; five
aunts; and three uncles.
