Paul Grenz Obituary

 

       Paul Grenz, age 50, of Miles City passed away on Monday, November 17, 2003 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.

      Paul was born in Miles City, Montana on January 25, 1953, the son of Gardner and Barbara Gilbert Grenz. Paul attended grade school and graduated from Custer County District High School in Miles City.  Following graduation, he attended college at Montana State University in Bozeman.  Paul then returned to Miles City where he went to work for his father and after his death he took over the 600 Bar and owned and operated it until the time of his death.  Paul married Donna Bascom on April 12, 1999 in Miles City, Montana.

      Paul loved to ride his motorcycle, go golfing, hunting, play pool and darts, and listen to music.  Paul was a member of the Eagles, Elks, and the Miles City Tavern Association.

      Paul is survived by his wife, Donna Grenz of Miles City, MT; his mother, Barbara Grenz of Miles City, MT; two step-sons:  Chad Young of Spokane, WA; Duane Bascom of Spokane, WA; two step-daughters:  Tammy Young of Rapid City, SD; Zabrina Miller of Iceland; a sister, Sherry Grenz of Billings, MT; seven step-grandchildren, numerous aunts and uncles.  Paul was preceded in death by his father Gardner.

      Visitation will be held Thursday, November 20, 2003 in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.  A prayer service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Miles City.  Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery.
