MARION WIEHOFF

Graveside memorial services for Marion Wiehoff of Palo Alto, Calif., and formerly of Melrose, will be Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Melrose. Friends and family are welcome.

Marion Wiehoff was born Nov. 23, 1917 in Minot, N.D. to John and Amelia Gensburg. She was united in marriage to Jerome Wiehoff on Sept. 19, 1937 in Jamestown, N.D. She was a member and past-president of the Melrose VFW Auxil
iary, the Retail Clerks Union and the "Little House" Retirement Center where she taught sewing and embroidery to residents. She passed away Oct. 15, 1999 in Palo Alto, Calif.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter Kathy Gaul-Montgomery of California; sisters: Millie Sicard of California, Betty Apple of Tennessee, Tillie Anderson of North Dakota and Dorothy Schubert of Washington; grandchildren Theresa Johnson and Kenneth Farrell and great-grandchildren, Kimberly Johnson and Wendy Farrell.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John, Bart and Eddie Gensburg; and sisters Kate Bergstrom, Virginia Saatzer and Pat Schrankel.
