Snap Shot - Michael

Michael attended school in Dixon, Illinois, during his senior High School year, he received his civilian pilot's license at Walgreen Field.  After graduating from High School, Michael took several tests for Army Aviation, where he passed with the highest scores in northern Illinois,.  He joined the Army in summer, 1970, and attended basic training and flight school at Reese Army Air Base, Texas, and Fort Rucker, Alabama. After receiving his wings at Fort Rucker, Michael flew helicopters during the Vietnam War.

After the service in the Vietnam War, Michael resigned his commission and attended Radio Broadcasting School in Baltimore, MD, where he met and married Sharon Roulf.  While working as a DJ in Baltimore, where his name "Mike Monday,"  He also attended college and ROTC at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina.  He received his Bachelor's Degree and was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the Air Force.

Michael spent a year in Alaska, shortly after his daughter was born.  He has gone into the Air traffic Control field, and is now a Captain.  He plans on making the service his career.

AS of Aug. 1991, Mike is air field manager at Tyndall Air Force Base at Panama City, FL.  He received his Master's Degree on his 40th birthday.

Michael was transferred to Oklahoma City in Summer, 1992.

Snap Shot - Terry

Terry Lynn was born at U.S. Air Force Hospital, Smoky Hill Air Force Base in Saline County, Kansas.  When Terry was 2 months old, her parents moved to Dixon, IL.

Terry attended grade and high schools in Dixon.  After graduation, Terry worked at K.S.B. Hospital in Dixon.

After marrying Gary Harden, Terry took a few years off to raise her two children.  She is back working again at K. S. B. Hospital.

Gary has had his own business, Harden's Auto & Truck Repair, for many years.

Snap Shot - Jeffrey

Jeffrey was born and raised in Dixon.  After graduating from High School in 1981, he worked at several jobs.  The following year, he married Jackie and enlisted in the Air Force.  After completing basic training, they were stationed in Montgomery, AL.  Jeff was in ROTC Administration, and was chose where Jeff served as General Grove's aide fora year.  Jeff then transferred to the Base Administration Office.

Jeff received his Bachelor's degree in 1988 through Eastern Illinois Univ. Charleston, IL.  He also received his Masters in Dec. 1991 from the Univ. of Chicago.
