Esther

Esther was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church.  She attendant grade school at a one-room school in the Gayton District;  she graduated from high school in Linton, after which she attended Bismarck Business College where she graduated in 1949.  Esther worked for the Bureau of College where she graduated in 1949.  Esther worked for the Bureau of Reclamation as a statistical typist in the Soil Laboratory.  In Sept., 1949, Esther moved to Inglewood, CA where she worked for Northrop Aircraft in the Engineering Department.  She started as a clerk, but was later promoted to supervisor.  She quit her job when she had her son in 1955.

Ray served in the US Army 38th Field Artillery Battalion during WWII.  He worked as supervisor with Foremost McKesson Food and Dairy Co. and retired in 1984.

He and Esther both enjoy fishing, hunting, camping, dancing, and travelling.
