Elvira E Grenz Obituary

Elvira E. Grenz, 82, Mandan, North Dakota, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Miller Pointe, Mandan. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at First Lutheran Church, Mandan with Rev. Christina Martin officiating. A gathering of family and friends is scheduled for 5-7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 with a Prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Burial will be in St. John�s Cemetery, Mandan. Cremation has taken place.

Elvira was born April 26, 1936, to Henry and Agnes (Sikel) Grenz in Hazelton, North Dakota, where she was raised and educated. Elvira worked as a farmwife, and her hobbies included playing cards and gardening. She was a member of the Mandan Eagles.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia (David) Schoonover, Bismarck; four sons, Larry Frederick, North Carolina, Norman (Sally) Frederick and Jeffery Frederick, all of Mandan, and Ted (Dorothy) Frederick, North Carolina; one sister, Darlene (James) Crismon, Gresham, Oregon; four brothers, Gordon Grenz and Lyle (Jean) Grenz, all of Hazelton, David (Kristy) Grenz, Parker, Colorado, and Kenneth (Georgette) Grenz, Hazelton; seven grandchildren, Brittney (Sheldon) Hendricks, Dickinson, Kassandra (Zach) Landis, Mandan, Kimberly Schoonover, Mandan, Devin, Negil and TJ Frederick, Mandan, and Cody Schoonover, Bismarck; four great-grandchildren, Lilly Ann Evans, McKenna and Mason Hendricks, and Sayer Landis.

Elvira was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leo in 1998; and son Paul Frederick.
