Christine was born on a farm near Hazelton, where she was raised and educated.  After marrying Albert Opp, they farmed near Hazelton;  Christine also was employed as a Social Worker for Emmons County for 13 years.

At the time of her death, Christine was 68 years old.  She was survived by her husband, Albert, and two sons, plus five grandchildren.
