Amelia
Grenz, 85, Napoleon, N.D., died Friday, April 12, 2002, at
St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, N.D.
Amelia Grenz was born June 16, 1916, near Napoleon in Logan
County, North Dakota, the daughter of Philip and Magdalena (Stadel)
Grenz. In 1918 the family moved to Kidder County, North
Dakota, near Dawson, N.D., where Amelia grew up and attended
Liberty School. In 1947 she moved to Steele, N.D., where she
worked at various jobs in the area. In 1975 she moved to the
Napoleon Care Center, where she lived until her death.
Amelia enjoyed quilting, crafts and summer camps at Camp
Grassick.
She is survived by two sisters, Lula Hoff and Alice Giest,
both Steele.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and
a brother.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Trinity Lutheran Church,
Napoleon, with the Rev. Richard Hagestuen officiating.
Arrangements by Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Napoleon.
Visitation: one hour before the service at the church.
Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery, rural Steele, N.D.
